Zhou Liubo leads the in-house R&D and tooling function that has grown HENGXANG's portfolio to 285 invention and utility model patents. His team works two tracks at once: incremental improvement of existing connector and cable lines, and new designs aimed at where the market is heading - higher fiber counts, faster field termination, and constructions suited to dense data center and 5G fronthaul installations.
He is the named inventor on HENGXANG's utility model patent for the fiber optic quick connector (ZL202220867234.6), the mechanism behind our splice-free field-installable connector line. Much of his portfolio traces directly to problems raised by customers during technical support calls - a connector geometry that is awkward to terminate in the field, or a boot design that does not sit well in a particular tray - which then become the next design revision.
